Hello viewers.


today I turn 29.



I am very excited by this. Why? Because it is one year closer to thirty. Why does that excite me when so many women cringe at the thought?




I have no idea.

Perhaps it is because 30 seems so established - so REAL.
perhaps it is because I have almost made it to 30 - a major milestone - without any

major catastrophies like

bankrupcy, a do-it-myself haircut

that resulted in a necessary shaved head,

or falling off a cliff.

Or perhaps

it is because I'm married to my best friend,

I have a beautiful son,

and there is a lot of GOOD STUFF to look forward to in my thirties.

More children? Another car?

Finally a dog? Being published?

running a marathon?

All you thirty-something and beyond out there - what have I

got to look forward to?
