ODE to a LIME
by Stepper the Mighty

A color too daring to wear
A wedge perched upon my glass
making my water delicious as air
after rain and fresh cut summer grass -
O! Lime! You are perhaps smaller
than your yellow and more well-known sister
but the wallop you pack is much bigger
than the bite of the tart-iest spritzer.
I love to hand a wheel to The Fish
who makes faces, but comes back for more
as we all do, beloved lime! for it's certain
you are the citrus we all so adore!

FRESH SQUEEZED LIMEADE

Try this at home!

You will need this stuff:

Cut all your limes in half and SQUEEZE them to death! I use a juicer.

Actually, I make Bill use a juicer.

but he likes to. Isn't he cute?

About 8 limes makes this much:

That's straight up Lime Juice, baby. If you have a daring palate and an iron-clad stomach, you could drink it like this.

But we recommend diluting it with chilly and delicious H2O. And a bit of sugar, to taste (we like ours TART!).
