Might I suggest a two cart system? I put the twins in the double seater, the baby (when he was in his infant seat) in the basket portion, and pull it by the front, then push an empty cart in which to pile in the goods. It sounds ridiculous and difficult, but once you give it a whirl you can become a pro easily.
